New Zealand Sunset

This beautiful photograph was taken by Fiona Barr, one of the nurses who took care of our son Kenneth in Kindred, Leonard Morse Hospital, Natick MA. Kenneth was a patient there from Nov 2008 until his death from Mesothelioma on March 1st 2009.
Fiona is a New Zealander and was home for a vacation in Dec.2009. One day as she drove she was thinking about Kenneth and the work she does and she stopped randomly after driving for eight hours. This was there on the beach in NZ – the country of Kenneth’s birth. She emailed the picture to me on Feb 14th 2010 but I did not receive it until March 1st 2010. Exactly one year after Kenneth’s death!!! I had cards made, with Fiona’s consent, and they were sold at our first Daffodil tea in May 2010. A very special picture.

Isaiah 40:31

..but those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength,
they shall mount up with wings like eagles,
they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
