Hello! I am Heather and I hope you enJOY my website

I was born in Dundee, Scotland and met my husband Ron at a dance in Carnoustie while I was still in High School. Four years later we married. We had three sons Stuart, Kenneth, Andrew and lived in three different countries Scotland, New Zealand, and USA.

We have been blessed with four grandchildren, Isabella born January, 2007, Connor born August, 2009, Callum born December 2014, and Ainsley born April 2017.

I have worked most of my life as a Histologist doing research and worked as a Pathologist Assistant at a local hospital until my retirement in June 2017. My husband Ron and I were also dorm parents at a boarding school outside of Boston until our retirement in June 2018. I get so much pleasure out of all aspects of my life but what gives me a lot of Joy is making crafts, creating parties and writing. This part of my life was on the ” back burner” for a number of years and then in March 2010, one year after the death of our son Kenneth, I decided that life should have more Joy.

I write this update in May 2019 and will always remember our Daffodil teas and how they helped me by helping others. I will keep both this site and the old site to remind me of the five wonderful Teas.

Ron and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in 2016 by going back to Scotland to the church we were married in and renewing our vows. Then we celebrated with friends and relatives with Afternoon Tea!
